LaDawnya has an online diary. She had been promising to get her diary on-line for some time now. She finally went ahead and posted on the internet. You can visit it here.

Below you will see an interview conducted by me with LaDawnya.

Cookie: I'm glad to hear from you. How have you been?

LaDawnya: I am fine.

Cookie: I see that you finally have your diary on-line.

LaDawnya: Yes. It is up and running. It can be seen at http://ladawnya.diaryland.com/.

Cookie: That's good. Why did you decide to post it now.

LaDawnya: I had been saying that I was going to post it one of these days. I came across Diaryland. I knew that it was time to post it.

Cookie: Why did you want to put your diary online for everyone to read?

LaDawnya: We all have stories to tell. We have to be brave and tell them. I knew that my story would bless people. All I had to do is share it.

Cookie: What kinds of things do you have in your diary?

LaDawnya: I talk about what happen when I was adopted by my mother, Kourtnee Adams. I go on from there. Actually, right now I am stuck. I haven't updated it in a few days. The entry that I am writing now is about Mrs. Johnson's funeral. I am having a hard time writing.

Cookie: I can understand that. From what I understand, Mrs. Johnson was an important person in your life.

LaDawnya: Yes, she was. Reading and writing the entries in my journal brought back good memories as well as sad memories.

Cookie: Have any of your family members read your diary?

LaDawnya: Yes, my mother, Kourtnee Adams has read it. My great grandmother, Mrs. Hatley Adams read a couple of entries. My great grandmother told me that I shouldn't be telling all of my business to folk I don't know. she laughed and then said, "The internet is too much for me."

Cookie: What did your mother say about your diary?

LaDawnya: She just shook her head. She hugged me and said, "I am glad that you feel comfortable talking about what has happened in your life." She is very supportive. I thank God that He put her in my life.

Cookie: How personal do you get in your journal?

LaDawnya: I don't get too personal. I tell quite a few details, but most of it is general knowledge.

Cookie: Do you reveal any secrets or dirt on anyone?

LaDawnya: Well, you have to read it to find out.

Cookie: I got ya!

LaDawnya: I don't think I tell to much dirt on anyone. I tell the truth.

Cookie: What kind of response have you gotten regarding your diary?

LaDawnya: Most people tell me that my life is interesting and that they sympathize with me. For the most part, I have received a positive response from my diary.

Cookie: That's good. I read a couple of entries. You talk about God without any hesitation in your diary.

LaDawnya: I believe that if the world can curse, act a fool, and talk about secular things, then I ought to be able to talk about what is important to me. I talk about God because He has been good to me.

Cookie: I understand what you are saying. We as Christians must begin to open up our mouths and talk about God.

LaDawnya: You are so right.

Cookie: Well, that's all the questions I have.

LaDawnya: Thanks for the interview. It was nice talking to you.
